"Privatized" housing is funded entirely by investor/owners, and has no direct linkage to the University. While University "rules and regulations" do not apply this property is professionally managed, and tenants are expected to act in a responsible manner and respect the property, other tenants, and the community.

Leases are structured for academic year terms and generally follow the calendar of the University. Each tenant rents on a "per bed" basis, sharing common living and dining areas with others. Tenants are only responsible for their rental commitment, and "shared" expenses, such as telephone or groceries agreed to by the residents of each apartment.
